That doesn’t make sense, you’d still have the one phone for your SO to find the messages.

The ability to have two numbers could be really useful for a ton of people who aren’t doing doing shady things. But I suspect most of them will be used for shady things.

The second number is for journalists who claim to need a private number for sources but are actually cheating on their spouses.

P hone features haven’t been invented yet until they’re incorporated into an iPhone.

I’d love to have my personal phone and business phone be the same physically but have two numbers.

I resent that insult

I had 2 numbers in my phone for a while. I have an at& t line since my first phone on a family plan and I had a T-mobile line for when I was international. When AT& T changed up som e of their plans/ policies I dropped the T-mobile line. Having 2 sims or the ability of expandable memory is a requirement for me. I wouldn’t buy an iphone regardless b ecause I think they are overpriced hot garbage.

Maybe it’s so you can always have a new burner # you can give out to your pursuits, and toss it when you’re done with them?

that seems harder than just buying prepaid burner phones, which also gives you the benefit of being able to hide the whole device.
I rock two phones cause I have an on-call phone and work policy requires that my work phone is iOS for the mdm policy . A dual sim iPhone is of interest to me and I don’t understand why there’s a seedy connotation.

So two sim cards, like androids got years ago. Got it.
